Christmas swimmers relish the more temperate weather for their festive aquatic endeavors.

 




 

People nationwide relished gentler weather as they took to the open waters to commence their Christmas Day festivities.

Several participants from the Serpentine Swimming Club adorned Santa hats as they joined the annual Peter Pan Cup race on Christmas Day at the Serpentine in Hyde Park, central London.

Since 1864, the race has been conducted, making it the world's longest-running and consistently contested swimming competition.
