Inebriated motorist dressed as Santa crashes vehicle into residence in Germany.

 In Berlin, a 54-year-old driver, donned in a Santa Claus costume, abruptly ended his Christmas Eve gift-delivery mission in the eastern German state of Thuringia. Reports from dpa news indicate that the inebriated driver veered off the road, colliding with both a house and another car in the municipality of Unstruttal, located north of Mühlhausen, as detailed in police reports on Monday morning



According to police reports, the front of the house sustained significant damage, though the gifts intended for the man's family and friends remained unscathed.

Upon the police's arrival at the accident site, they determined that the man was unfit to continue driving and promptly administered a blood-alcohol test.


The individual is currently under investigation for endangering road traffic. Despite the setback, the thwarted Santa Claus announced his intention to carry out his gift delivery on Christmas Day. However, he'll have to navigate the delivery without his car, as his driving license has been confiscated, as reported by Bernama-dpa.
