Deputy NSA Vikram Misri to be new Foreign Secretary from July 15

 On June 28, the Government announced that Deputy National Security Advisor Vikram Misri would assume the role of Foreign Secretary starting July 15. This appointment marks a significant transition in India's diplomatic leadership, as Mr. Misri prepares to succeed current Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra.
